In this workshop:
You will learn the facts about perimenopause / menopause transition for women. It's time to understand, learn and support your body, mind and health through this time. Leslie will offer some tips and tools to navigate for optimal health.
On Day 1 of the workshop on July 17th, we will cover the facts of what all women's bodies experience during our perimenopausal / menopausal time in life. The female hormonal dance, what this means to us from a mental, body and mind perspective.
Day 1 Topics - Define Menopause - Hormonal Dance - Body, Mind Impact and Solutions
1. Define perimenopause and menopause transition phase
2. Female Hormone (Estrogen, Progesterone, Testosterone)
3. Adrenal Glands - Thyroid and Cortisol
4. Shifts in our world - due to hormonal changes
4. Putting it all together - how these impact Brain, Body and Mind
5. Nutrition - good place to start
6. Solutions - Exercise, food, yoga, stress relief, female empowerment
On Day 2 of the workshop on August 7th, we will dive into how our brain functions as an integral part of the menopause transition. How we can feel empowerment in this change. Discuss the body changes, weight, mood and nutritional impacts.
Day 2 Topics - You are not Crazy - Understand the brain, empower the change. Shifts in food, exercise and lifestyle.

I worked in the pharmaceutical industry for the past 24 years in the clinical trial area. After resigning from my pharma career due to brain fog symptoms of peri/menopause, I started the journey to become a peri/menopause coach and teacher working to help women.
During my own personal struggle with peri/menopause symptoms, I felt overwhelmed by the amount of information on 'Menopause' and struggled to find solid and dependable answers. With this frustration I felt constant chaos on some level, so I began to investigate how I could get real and factual knowledge.
In the journey to understand my own body, I started formal education in peri/menopause. I first attended a 'Brain Master' course by Dr. Fiona Lovely, which detailed the facts of the loss of estrogen on your brain. Fascinating! Next, I completed a comprehensive course with Dr. Fiona Lovely to become a certified Menopause coach. I am now working on a more 'coaching centric' Menopause certification with Molly Galbraith, Girls Get Strong program. Both programs have provided a foundation for me to coach and teach women about the peri/menopause transition from a health, mental and spiritual focus. I also have a certification in pre-natal yoga that assists with the invaluable knowledge of breath and relaxation work.
I am so passionate to teach and share with women everything I have learned! I want to educate and help women during their Menopausal period to become aware, empowered and confident with mind, body and soul.
