Join Amy Sue Smith and Cheri Fandozzi at Sol Luna Yoga this fall for an exploration of the transitional season of fall and the practice of coming home.
As we move through the fall season and its equinox, we are living in a transitional period between the moist heat of the summer and the dry cold of winter. The days shorten. The plants that just a couple of months prior were blossoming with life in the warm sunshine, start to shed their leaves and fruits as they prepare for winter. The wind picks up. And there is a slowing down, a turning inward as we ready ourselves for winter.
...we will celebrate this season of longer nights and cooler, quieter days with yoga practices and meditations to help you feel at home - in your body, heart and mind. We will offer a Saturday afternoon workshop and community dinner to help us all connect more fully with the earth and what’s most important in our lives. Nourishing ourselves before the hustle and bustle of the holiday season begins, and preparing for the start of a new year.

Thanks again for a peaceful surrendering weekend! I carried your energy home with me and had a blissed out day today..sun was shining, daffodils were in bloom, temp was warm...spring has sprung. You yoga mammas did a great job hosting us and sharing your gifts with us. I am grateful.
~ Nancy
I wanted to express my gratitude to the 2 of you for the 'centering' weekend at the studio. It was the medicine I didn't know I needed. I carried that loving energy with me and I believe it helped me while I sat in the Emergency Room with my daughter and her 18month old after the baby took a nasty fall. Thank goodness she's ok!! But I felt still and present for my daughter and her baby. I even left my cell phone at home in the chaos, but didn't really care. This energy I believe I can attribute to the blissful weekend I spent with you and the other fellow yogis.

It was such a lovely weekend. Christine and I wish we were back in Avalon with you all this weekend. How lucky we were with the weather however! Thank you for creating a very special experience of relaxation and connection. Absolutely perfect.

I wanted to thank you both again for a wonderful weekend. Groups (of women) aren't always a comfortable space for me, but the retreat truly is a safe, welcoming, warm place to be because of the guidance and energy of you both, and I am grateful. I woke up on Monday morning and realized what I felt over the weekend that I wasn't able to voice during the retreat was that I was seen, and I was nurtured, both of which I truly was in need of.
~ Liz
